If you are willing to test your might and luck check out the book of dead demo. If you are willing to seek something new, we will share some of the latest games and updates. Play fair and have fun!

The Stone of Madness

In an 18th-century monastery in the Pyrenees, five prisoners are falling into despair after falling into the clutches of the Spanish Inquisition. As revealed at the Future Games Show, the goal in The Stone of Madness is to combine their abilities and find a way to escape this Inquisition concentration camp to find freedom.

However, this is easier said than done. Each of the five characters you can control has a list of fears and phobias. They can be triggered by their environment. You’ll need to pay close attention to where they go and what they see. Their trauma triggers can deteriorate their sanity, causing long-term negative effects that make it difficult to progress.

While you keep the prisoners’ fears in check, you’ll need to explore the monastery to find clues, tools, and contacts. They will aid in your escape. There are two separate escape plans in the game. Each of them is leading through different storylines with their objectives and special characters.

You will also need to consider the passage of time. The gameplay is divided into day and night phases. During the day, you can complete tasks to get bonuses and explore the monastery for clues, and at night you can heal, rest, or secretly explore the forbidden areas of the prison. But be careful: if you are caught breaking the rules, the punishment will be severe.

The Stone of Madness is due out in 2025 on PC, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch. The game can be added to your Steam favorites.

Deadlock

Valve has finally officially acknowledged that it is working on Deadlock. It is a 6v6 hero shooter/MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) hybrid. It has been rumored for months and has since entered testing, with many people even playing and sharing videos.

The short teaser trailer that Valve released on Deadlock’s Steam page doesn’t give much away. It shows a character standing in front of a store and three mobs walking in the background (lane creeps) and that’s it. However, the genre tags on the Steam page confirm that Deadlock is indeed an online third-person shooter with MOBA elements.

Due to Valve’s decision not to force players to sign a formal non-disclosure agreement (NDA) or adhere to an embargo ahead of the closed beta that kicked off in May, many details of the game are already known. Players were asked to simply click on a pop-up asking them to “not share any game information with anyone,” but this was easily bypassed by not agreeing to any of the terms.

Overall, as players describe it, Deadlock is a pretty fun game. It combines elements from a variety of games. In short, Deadlock is now officially out in the open for discussion, and anyone can talk about it as much as they want. The Steam page also states that the game is in early development. But it should now be easier to find videos of the game than ever before.

Bloomtown: A Different Story

During Gamescom, publisher Twin Sails Interactive and developers Lazy Bear Games and Different Sense Games announced that Bloomtown: A Different Story will be released on September 24. This RPG combines elements of everyday life in 1960s American suburbia with turn-based combat and monster taming, as a demonic world arises beneath the surface of a seemingly peaceful town.

The game is inspired by games like Persona and Earthbound. It tells the story of a brother and sister who investigate mysterious disappearances in their town. Players will be able to garden, work in a grocery store, work out at a gym, and perform other mundane tasks. You can even try out a local casino and try betting on sweet bonanza there. In addition, as you battle demons, you can weaken them and capture them to create your team.

If you like RPGs and don’t mind pixel art, the Bloomtown demo is already available on Steam, and as the comments say, it’s gorgeous.

In addition to PC, the game will also be available on all consoles, including Switch.
